Im wanting a plaformer for the PS 2 but not sure what to buy.
There are many out these days, but you can never really know
what they will entail. I used love playing Super Mario on my
old SNES and games Like Contra on my PC.
Are there any hames like that out on the PS 2?
I hear names like herdy gerdy, Maximo, Jak & Daxter, Crash Bandicoot, Rayman but are they what im looking for?
it would be much appreciated if people can give me brief reviews and explain what 'kind' of platformers these are or let me know if there is anything coming out which I may find of interest.

Maximo or Jak & Daxter are really the only two worth getting.
Jak & Daxter is more 'fun' but Maximo is more challenging.
