Most people who own a computer or console have played worms, it has appeared on such platforms as the Gameboy, Playstation and even the Spectrum! It was just the addictive nature of the game and the satisfaction of seeing your mate's worms fly across a hill and land with a resounding splash in the water below. It made the best party game as you only needed one controller to play a multi player game and the sound samples were hilarious, with the worms saying 'oh dear' before they dissappear under a tombstone.
Worms was a modern classic, and is still played in my house today. It is one of those games that will stay in people's games collections for a long time to come.
