They have no indicators.
With Liberty City being a typical American city, the layout is in 'blocks' as such you have to make many sharp turns. Every time I go to make one, I want to indicate, but am not able too.
Plus I keep crashing because I drive on the left without thinking.
Hopefully GTA4 will allow you to switch to English driving, and put indicators on the cars, so I'm not such a danger to other road users.

I didn't see any when I lived in Canada either.
Apparently there is one in the USA though, but people tend to crash there.

Always a risk when you're not used to them I suppose..
Roundabouts would be cool. Loads of crashing to be done. : )
Its there for a reason.
