Sony have announced that their online meeting place for PS3, Home, will be delayed till early 2008. The reason behind this is due to ironing out problems before the software goes live and anyone who's been keeping up to date with the development won't be surprised by the latest delay.
The problem is that Sony have been shouting about Home for a while now and any delay will dent their PS3 reputation further.
They now have to rely on promises of more software and their big titles like GT5 Prologue and Metal Gear Solid reaching shops in 2007.

But at least they announced Dual Shock 3 which might keep PS3 owners pacified for the time being.
This is a little like announcing that your games console can now play CDs, but I think it beats a pastel pink and baby blue controller announcement. Having said that a pastel pink controller could be the next surprising catalyst in the games industry revolution.
Home is a case of all good things come to those who wait. If Sony get it right it'll be worth it. Meantime enjoy Metal Gear Solid 4 replete with rumble and keep your fingers crossed.
