C64 that i have.Thrust by Firebird was a 1.99
cheepie that had awesome playability and was instantly
addictive. You controlled a ship via keys only and had
to capture a pod via wire and take it to the surface
of the planet. You had to replenish your fuel which
depleted upon thrusting as the gravity was your enemy.
As the stages got higher the deeper and narrower was
journey into the planet. The pod when caught would also
your control of the ship as it acted as a counter
wieght.To this day I give it 9/10.
Gribblys day out was programmed by a legend in his
time who went by the name Andrew Braybrook. You controlled
a "gribbly" who had only one foot and moved around a
4-way scrolling screen trying to rescue your babys and
return them to your cave before they got captured.
I cant remember to much about this game as I haven't
played it since '86 but I can tel you Mr Braybrook also
made classics such as Paradroid, Uridium & Morpheus
He did all his own graphics and sound back in the days
when you and I could program games with a little
knowhow.
I hope this has bought back a memory or two for some
of you.

Thrust is great isn't it?! Someone should do a new shareware version for PCs like the ones that were given away on Amiga cover disks.
