On Ricco Harbour for the 8th shine what do you do I have tried slamming down on the two buttons but it doesn't seem to be working.
Keep slamming until the relevent fruit appears, (usually the spikey one). Feed Yoshi and change the colours of the platforms using Yoshi until you reach the shine.
They give out fruits that you feed to Yoshi, personally I get the rocket nozzle first and then when I'm on top of the button I rocket upwards and then butt-bash down again.
