Well if the game isn't for you then stay away from it. The Americans are lapping up this game and it is also popular in Japan! The majority say they won't get it but when they see it up and running they won't be able to resist Xbox Hardware that is actually bigger than the machine itself and that is saying something! I am going to see how the cash flows in 2003 but I will get a GameCune and Metroid Prime before getting this.
£130 pounds for 1 game?!? No game is worth that, no matter how good they are they always get boring at some point.

You are probably right about that one as the value I heard/read was only an estimate and that was about 2 months a go so the price will have come down. Still, the cheaper it is the more likely I am to buy it! Just another £30 off and I will consider getting it :)
last i heard the controller + game will cost £130
An Xbox game that will cost £200 and have the biggest controller I think I have ever seen! Thats what this is about, Steel Batallion is going to be a bench makr and a collectors item when it is released and if I have the money I will be there to buy this beauty.

steel battalion will be released in the UK in spring for approx £200. You could import the US or Jap versions from www.videogameimports.com
I just can't see myself seated in front of the TV battling with that monstrosity of a controller.... The game itself looks amazing though.
Tekki = Steel Battalion, Yes its coming out over here soon I think, Not sure when though.
