Just been reading the "lastest" news article on Cube Europe, And a bloke has done a very long post bout what he feels about the Gamecube/Sony problem. There are some points raised that actually make you think about gaming itself and how the Getaway sucks.

i didnt read it but from what u have said im gonna agree and say dispicable

thats what I've been sayinf for ages.

Thats why I hate Gran Turismo and all those other crappy racers. Developers just never learn, realism is NOT FUN!

Why do they think that doing things we do everyday is going to make an entertaning game?

I just read it, and i couldn't agree more.
Gamecube sales are low due to the hype created by it's rivals.
And the employees of my local game store are also brainwashed by Micrososft.
I went to my local store the other day and some woman had picked up a gamecube for her children (one was aged 7-9, the other i'd say was around 14), only to be told she should get a different console as gamecube was the worst of the 3! She then put the gc back and picked up a ps2!
I have actually emailed game with this and hope they will do something to prevent this in the future, and just think, because of that scum-bag behind the counter, those poor children had to gop home with a crap...console.....*sob*

*runs away crying*

Its a shame, I was told that "The gamecubes just arent selling anymore and all the games are rubbish, and there all just ports from other consoles"... That came from a game shop manager!

Nintendo must be doing something right though, seeing as they're once again in the lead (by that I mean in second place) in America, and are doing fantastically in Japan. It's just Europe they have to work on now, and that won't be hard, seeing as they're nearly there already.

But the next time I see a biased employee of GAME badmouthing the GameCube or X-Box for no apparent reason, I might just step in and put him in his (or her) place. I certainly wouldn't want to be fed false information if I was buying a new console.

I sent the dude a long email. Highlighting some of the flaws, Bot most things I agree with.

The Getaway sucks, And its more Pro-PS2 in GAME stores in my area, Half of them hate the Xbox/Gamecube.

AHA! my new years revouloutin. to punch every game staff member who says kiddy and nintendo in the same sentance. and then go and smash up the next X-Box promotion with a cricket bat. wearing a balaclava. and then attack microsofts headquarters with forks.
