Hey I have not had the chance to pick up this game yet from any local store and was looking to see if anyone else had.None of my friends seem to have it so I am taking this time to ask you people.If you have this game I would like to know if I should buy it or if it just one of these rather crap games that the creators really did not have to make.I rather liked the idea of Ezio from Assassins Creed was in the game but that is about all I know.
Thanks.

@Jakfan (if you're still around?)

I've played this for a fair bit tonight and this is my initial opinion:

I absolutely love it, it's fast, smooth, ridiculously OTT and most of all, it's tonnes of fun. The new Brave edge and Critical Edge attacks are a welcome addition to the series as are the couple of completely new characters (the other new characters are based heavily on old favourites). It looks and sounds fantastic too. I have been playing it on a Madcatz Fightpad but I would imagine it would be perfectly playable on a standard controller. At £40 I might not have been quite so thrilled with it but it's available now at pretty much half that price (second hand) and is well worth that kind of money. If you don't like beat em ups then this ain't going to win you over, if you do then it's well worth considering (particularly if you enjoyed the previous games in the series). I would give it an 8/10.

Off for a rest now as I think I may have developed arthritis in my fingers!

Don't know if you're still around Jakfan?, but I have just picked up a cheap (ish) copy of SC5 off the bay. Should have it early next week so will give you my impression of it if then if you're interested.

Pete thanks I do think the price is a bit far fetched last time I saw it was £40.
I agree the star wars tie in was an epic fail I do not think star wars is the type of thing to tie in with it.
I will wait until it is cheaper and maybe buy it seems good from the trailers I have seen and also If you look on youtube there is a video of people in London creating the name and some of the characters on a wall I would check it out pete!. :)

Jakfan, I would honestly wait for Soul Calibur V, it will be sub £20 within a few weeks. Beat em ups never hold their money regardless of how good they are. I will pick it up when it hits sensible money, if I get it before you I'll let you know what it's like. Last game was good but Star Wars tie in was ridiculous, at least the Assassins Creed dude looks like he is from a similar era (and planet!). Like I say when I pick it up I'll report back.
