I think it is incredibly hard to compare to consoles that we have little information about, let alone actually being able to play on one.... but, topics like these were inevitable i suppose.

with the hugh sucsess of the PS1 and the PS2 i think the PS3 will be the more popular but Nintendos next console i'm sure will be great (well i hope so) and a wearthy opponant to Sony

There is so little info on them at the moment, you can't really make a decision on which one is best. We can that all 3 new consoles will be out in 2005, although some UK versions may slip to early 2006.
With GC only selling 1,600 units in the UK and PS2 on 15,000 units in the UK last week (Xbox was 5,000), can the GC survive until GC2 is released. With low numbers like that, developers may jump ship and just not bother with GC software.

Yes but you seem to be totally ignoring the Japeanease, American and the rest of Europes sales figures.
With the new cheaper price fro Cube across Europe and a lot of big games releases coming up in the next few weeks, Gamecube sales are gonna do nothing but go up.
Oh and withg the money the get from GBA Nintendo will always be around making consoles.
