Is it possible to stretch a background image in a table, so it fills the width and height of the cell, unrepeated?!

Only CSS will do it but the result will be awful. Wait until Tyla sees it and he'll tell you how.

I like your tagline BTW. My ISP's infected and pathetically tried to infect me yesterday. Fortunately though, penguins are immune to viruses.

If the table is a definite position, width and height, then you can do it with layers. Is it?

Just use your graphics program to crop and stretch it. Save the stretched image, then use the tag.

If you really wouldn't want to do that, the try http://htmlgoodies.earthweb.com

I'm sure you'll find a tutorial in there. Just click on Style Sheets.

It can be done, but you'd have to use layers. And that won't please Turbonutter.

Or anyone, really. Actually, you don't need to use layers, just CSS.
