As long as you can use the HF Blade form the start I don't care. Only Snake said he doesn't like blades, and I doubt Raiden will make a return visit : ).

I think I'd prefer that anyway. It's better having a revamped version of a classic than an over-hyped balls up. Not that MGS2 was bad, but it was a balls up.
Better graphics and new areas in MGS1 would rock. And I know how much PS2 owners would love it no matter what they say. Hopefully they'd get rid of the corny ending too.

Hideo Kojima announced that he was working on MGS3 for a PS3 release. I don't think the Metal Gear on the GC will be as good.
SR's Upwire said that the PS3 is fit to be more powerful than 100 PCs. That's reassuring enough methinks.

Well HAHAHA!!! Nintendo and Konami (is that the right company?) have joined together to make a metal gear solid game for GC. And Shigsy's working on it!!
