I seem to be forever changing nappies, but luckily we've got our eldest toilet trained. However, it's just more work in other ways. Constantly running round town or shops looking for a toilet then holding her over it is not ideal!

I don't mind all that stuff though, it's all part of being a parent. Bath-times, putting them to bed, feeding etc, I don't think my wife would put up with me not helping out, to be honest, and neither would I.

Oh they know how hard it is, a majority just tend not to understand. ou get the few dads that are great with kids. Others that just want the fun stuff and the ones that find the stuff a child needs is the boring stuff they dont like to do. Changing a napp etc... If you ask a bloke to do it you usuall get some kind of reply like, 'Ill leave it to the professional'...

A guy misses out on alot of things yes. However if the guy wasnt working, it would only give a woman soething else to moan about.

Alot of men think its good enough just to throw money at the kids, this how ever doesnt make up for the rest of it. Im a single mother of 3. My kids dads very rarely if a all see the kids. Now ive not turned round to them at all and said i dont want them seeing them. THey know where the kids are if they were interested.

Giving me a c' and bull story that there not going to visit them cos things will be uncomfortable isnt going to wash with me. Especially if they have caused things to be as they are.

If the kids meant anything to them they would make the effort.

So in my case im with my kids just about 24/7, im the one that knows everything about them, from what they like and dont like, i can comfort them etc...

I dont rely on anyone but myself. Im not going to be letting them down

Yet women are always generally favoured in custody cases. The father also has no say if the woman wants to have an abortion. Now thats fair...

I'm gonna stick up for the guys on this subject, guys and girls are equal when it comes to children. My mum and dad played equal parts in my up bringing so it isn't fare to say that guys don't do nothing because they do alot to help out children. If not giving love and afection giving money so the chld can have nice stuff like his/her friends!!!
