Great game. What games should be, not terribly dumbed down things that belong on flash websites.

Rent/buy, don't let it pass you by.

It's a good game, but I didn't enjoy it as much as their previous game Chronicles of Riddick. There was a bit too much walking around empty streets of New York to get to your next action sequence for my liking, it made the game feel a bit disjointed and bitty.

Still good, just not as good as I would have hoped. Though stabbing dudes with the darkness tentacle and flinging them around the levels never got old!

Hopefully the remake of Riddick that's coming out next year with extra content will be a worthwile update.

The graphics were nice and as a pure shooter it pushed all the right buttons, but I felt adding that layer of horror and extra abilities didn't work too well, if they stripped out the horror stuff and left it as a modern day shooter I'd probably have liked it more.

We've had other games like this in the past, Second Sight and so on, all trying to give the FPS genre something new simply by adding different abilities rather than new weapons.

Bioshock, on the other hand, did the same thing (plasmids instead of darkness abilities or kinetic abilities) but it did it much, much better than anything previously in my view.
