I think there's a chance that at the end of the season Crystal Palace will be promoted into your league, and then you can look at their players and buy them if you want, but as far as I know you can only play as a Premiership Club

Curling the ball is only really manual during free kicks, where you use the C-stick to choose where to hit the ball in relation to your foot connecting with it.

Curling the ball is automatic as far as I know. It does it according to where you are on the pitch.
