As a long time Freeola Broadband customer as well as a GetDotted Web Hosting one with many domains I've just received a Freeola 'news' update email...

As mentioned on these forums a little while back the new off-peak hours were warmly received - today's email has details of that as well as many other improvements!

See the Broadband page for details - the tariffs have been MASSIVELY improved.

Prices REDUCED, bandwidth INCREASED, IMPROVED off-peak!
Email IMAP(emailpro) now available for FREE.
*checks* it's not April 1st!


It all looks good to me! - almost too good!!!
Hopefully I haven't missed a catch - can Freeola confirm their ADSL wholesaler is remaining the same?

I appreciate I am a Freeola fanboi (checks urban dictionary for spelling!) but for balance I'm often the first to complain as well...

Nice to hear Hmmm and seems like good news :¬) However haven't received a 'news update' email - just received my monthly bill which is exactly the same as it should be - no more/no less.

Probably just for me then! ;¬)

The price changes are from the next billing month (going to pre VAT prices) so only a small reduction - but it all helps.
See the Broadband page for changes - some of the packages have more than trebled the data bandwidth!
i.e. The smallest(cheapest) package now has more bandwidth than the previous Pro one!

If there's no catch then I'm voting for Freeola at the next general election!

I believe these are going out in 'batches' so as to not overload the server. Even if you haven't received the (wonderfully written) e-mail, the new pricing and tariff plan will still apply to your connection.
