For me anyway on the 2 platforms I have:

PC

Commandos 2: Hard but not frustrating.
Max Payne: Oh yes.
Operation Flashpoint: Hated it at 1st, now I love it. UKD!
Black & White: Flawed but excellent.

PS2:
GTA3: I need say no more
Silent Hill 2: David Lynch meets Clive Barker
Music MTV Generator: Wah-wah and flutes means cool
Dave Mirra: Harlow character in it that you can smash into walls and the floor. Hard
Soul Reaver 2: Fantastic and hardly known.

My favs are


PS2:
Grand Theft Auto
Devil May Cry
Metal Gear Solid 2:SOL
Gran Turismo 3


Dreamcast:
Shenmue
Shenmue 2
Tokyo Extreme Racer (Which had a poor showing on the PS2.)
Phantasy Star Online

Gamecube:
Star Wars: Starfighter


That's all the new platforms that I have. I'm working on the getting an Xbox and I didn't feel like going through all of the old systems that I have.

Here are my top games on all the formats I can remember playing:

PS2:
Nothing yet that I think will stand the test of time in the same way Zelda OTT will... but then again, MGS2 is round the corner:)

DC:
Resident Evil: Code Veronica (great story!!!!)
Jet Set (simply for its originality!)

N64:
Zelda OTT (need I say more)
Goldeneye
Mario 64 (the first truely 3d game)

PSX:
FF 7
GT (original version)
[my knowledge of PSX games is v. poor!)

Saturn:
NiGHTS! (FAVE GAME EVER! Utterly original)

SNES+NES:
Mario games
Zelda games
Mario Cart!!!!

Mega Drive:
Sonic games

Is that thief 1 or 2? -coz 1 was pretty poor but 2 was amazing.

I haven't played enough titles to give a top 10 or whatever. I'll list what I have played:

It's odd, I've never really heard anyone slam the Dreamcast.
Because it was a quality machine in my opinion.

Now they're cheap I'll get one after Xmas.
Ready to Rumble, Soul Caliber, Crazy Taxi, all games I enjoyed.
