You're a young dragon helping the dragon lord recover the stolen gems and return peace to the realms (ice, fire, wind and earth/forest). As you collect the gems you use them in battle to improve the power and efficiancy of your attacks.
Storyline: basic but at least there is one 2*
Game play: repetative 2*
Graphics: Good 3*
Battle mode: restrictive, sluggish but origonal 2.5*
Sound: Ordinary, voice of dragon lord annoying 1*
Pro's: customising the colours of your dragon is fantastic! it is easy to create some very cool combinations.
Con's The jewel system is confusing at the start, i spend a lot of time waiting for the game to catch-up or simply finish, it slows the whole game down- theres no momentum.
Additional comments: The game is most frustrating in it's untapped potential. With sensitive controls, less waiting time, a bit more freedom in the realms and a stronger story line this game could be great
Question to the designers: what's with the school bus, police car and drumkits? a bit of fun perhaps but they are entirely out of place in the game and ruin any chance of becoming absorbed into the worlds you craeted.
