It seems that my local Game(s') are still in the stoneage, charging N64 prices for the Players Choice Range, £10 more than Special Reserve are charging!

What the hell are Game playing at?

Purhaps the scraches on the Disc and the chewed up manual give it added vaule.

I bet the dog saliva (sp?) on the manul added £2 on to the price :-D.

Hence the topic name..."back to the stoneage" and my mentioning that they are charging "N64 prices"

the R.R.P. for N64 Players Choice games was £29.99
For the GameCube it is £19.99

Reminds me of the N64 Player's Choice (was that the name? The ones with the silver box) which was hideously overpriced despite being a 'budget' range.

X-Box couldn't swim if it was in 6 super-inflated life boats.

And I saw the £29 players choice range yesterday. I was going o buy Muigi's Mansion from them too... until I saw it was £25 second hand.

Excuse probably is 'GC is not doing very well'

Not at all. Xbox is swimming along isn't it?

It wouldn't suprise me if Game start charging the RRP as a "Game Reward Price"

After all, they're happy to sell Platinum and Xbox Classics at the RRP!

No wonder Nintendo has trouble.

Although still being one of the biggest companies in computing, with well over 1.5 million Cubes around is trouble is it?
