WOW, thought they has given up on this, we played Duke Nukem 3d endlessly on the Mega Drive! Definitely gonna get this one when it comes out =D
It was announced in something like 1997 and must have gone through a ton of builds. Release date is 2011 I think so it is only 14 years in development. :D

I'll believe this when I actually see it in a shop, Duke Nukem Fornever has already burned me more than once with promised release dates :(
They have said this before... and then it turned out to be utter rubbish. I have to side with Butch on this one... :(.

Seeing as one of the companies behind it went bust, the IP and development moved to another, I see it as very unlikely they would push Duke Nukem Forever as an ongoing joke, but instead as serious intention for release this time...or face further lack of confidence in the businesses and more studio closures...
