I am going to make this one short and sweet.
Freeserve ain't all they are said to be. Since signing up to Freeserve Anytime, I have had nothing but trouble with the internet. I've only just fixed. The installation didn't work due to a Freeserve fault!!!

Ntlworld has been good for me. I am not saying that they dont occationally have problems but 90% of the time they are very good. And they are free :).There is a minimum ammount you have to spend on calls £10 but I think everyone spends that much.
With my elsa modem I get a ping of 160+
and a download rate of 4.7kbps consistantly

BT are crap.
If you use it a lot they give you a different number to dial up to that you can never log on to and keeps disconnecting. Its bloody terrible.

BT's service is reletive to where you live. I thought it disconnected you every 2 hours though.
I'm on BT Anytime and I'm extrememly happy with it. It hardly ever dissconects and it is quite cheap. I have heard problems from other people, but I am yet to experience any.
Tiscali can't be as bad as Freeserve. I've just had problems logging on to Freeserve Anytime just now. It's all a big joke to them. Who's the best ISP around????

It's like all ISP who do subscription deals. They start off good and just get progressively worse until the go under. It's happen(ed/ing) to EVERY SINGLE ISP who've done it, including this one (World Online/Tiscali).
I've got the Freeserve Off-Peak Surftime PAckage, which used to be V.Good, but latley it just gets worse and worse.....
