Thats the legal age for the shop branch.

Also, its illegal to sell an 18 rated game in you are 17-. So they take that into consideration.

Was annoying. Now no problem.

6 hours standing up. Hmmm, didn't take that into consideration, I think I could do it though. But I suppose all jobs suck in some way.

PS You didn't answer my question. Why over 17 to work there? :)

stocking all those tall shelves with heavy game boxes must play terrible havoc with your arms. Standing around for 6 hours sounds like sheer hell. Knowing what to tell customers when they ask "what sort of game is this Halo then?" or "I have a 266MHz pentium, can I play Command and Conquer Generals", must take advanced mental dexterity. Taking someones money, sticking it in the till, then giving them the amount of change shown on the display must take nerves of steel. Keeping an eye out for shifty looking 12 year olds in the xbox section must require such an incredibly militant attitude.

My hat goes off to you, good sir

sorry but I couldn't help myself ;D

It's doss, with 2 's's.

Ah yes, it is a hard job, when you have black dudes who claim to have reward cards, and they don't.

And since you have friends who work in odeon.. can you get some sort of answer to why they're ONLY playing X2 this weekend?

Really? Let me try again.

Working at GAME is not 'easy', infact its very tiring and if you want an example of why its tiring well... trying standing up for 6hours and you'll get the picture.

A lot of my other friends work around Wimbledon and through a past conversation we have digested that working at GAME is the hardest out of all the jobs. As you do the most. Its not a DOS job and requires concentration as well as knowing what you are doing and talking about.

Its not an easy job actually. Its harder than you would imagine. Jobs at odeon, elys, argos, whsmith, NEXT and GAP are easier (done a comparison with my mates).

GAME is by far easy. Well.. In Wimbledon branch anyway.
