Just three days before the 2001 Survivor Series, SmackDown! emanated from the Pepsi Arena in Albany, N.Y., with an explosive episode!
The show opened with a Hardcore Championship match, as Rob Van Dam defended against Kane, in a battle of two of the 10 superstars in the "Winner Take All" match this Sunday! Ultimately, Kane went for the chokeslam, but Booker T ran down and hung Kane on the top rope. RVD went up top and nailed Kane in the face with a kick -- and then picked up the pinfall to retain his title. After the bout, the Undertaker ran down to protect his brother from the Alliance members, who fled through the crowd.

Test was playing Xbox in his dressing room when Stacy Keibler walked in. She wanted to make sure that Test was ready for their six-man match, as Test was to team with the Dudley Boyz against Edge and the Hardy Boyz. Test said that he was ready, and Stacy told him that for the record, she always thought that he was better looking than Edge anyway. Test smiled arrogantly, and then looked in a mirror and said, "Like there was ever any doubt."

Chris Jericho walked into The Rock's locker room, and talked about how people thought he was going to hit him over the head with a steel chair on RAW, instead of just saving the People's Champion from a double-team at the hands of Stone Cold Steve Austin and Kurt Angle. Y2J said that he would indeed be on the same page as Rock until Survivor Series, saying he would lead Team WWF to victory. Rock then said, "Knock knock," and Jericho said, "Who's there?" Rock said, "The Rock," and Y2J said, "The Rock who?" leading Rock to answer, "The Rock who's gonna lead Team WWF to victory at Survivor Series, and The Rock who's gonna lay the smack down on Chris Jericho's candy a ss!" The two men then shook hands, but Y2J held on for a little too long, and did a cool handshake for The Rock. The Rock laughed, and the two men shook hands again, this time with Rock doing a cool handshake of his own. As Rock walked away, Jericho exclaimed, "That's not cool!"

In six-man action, the Hardy Boyz and Edge -- accompanied by Lita -- took on the Dudley Boyz and Test, who were escorted to the ring by the Duchess of Dudleyville, Stacy Keibler. The match took place just three days before the Test-Edge and Dudleys-Hardys title-unification matches at Survivor Series. As the match began, the announcement was made that the winners of those respective matches will remain employed after Sunday, regardless of which side wins the "Winner Take All" match.

Edge picked up the win for his team, pinning D-Von after a spear. After the bout, Test drilled Edge in the face with a big boot. Lita knocked Stacy off the ring apron, but Stacy was caught by Matt Hardy! As Lita questioned what he was doing, Matt simply dropped Stacy to the ground! Then, despite Matt's warnings, Lita turned around, only to get a 3-D for her troubles! Bubba screamed, "See you in the cage!" as Matt checked on his girlfriend.
Moments later, Matt checked on Lita backstage, and promised her he would never let her get hurt again. Then he kissed her, but rolled his eyes as he did so!

Diamond Dallas Page's music sounded in the arena, but instead of DDP, out came the Big Show, dressed as Page, complete with blond wig and shiny white teeth! Show mocked Page, saying "It's me, it's me, it's DDP! You like me, I like me, and I'm gonna help you like me! When the Big Show destroys the Alliance at Survivor Series, that's not a bad thing -- me losing my job, that's a good thing!" The real DDP then came out, smiling as always. DDP threw some punches at the Show, but the 500-pounder's pure strength was too much for DDP. Show chokeslammed DDP within a minute, and pinned Page to pick up the win. After the bout, Shane McMahon ran in the ring and clocked Big Show in the head before escaping through the crowd.

Backstage, Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley watched footage from the July night in Atlanta when the Alliance was formed, and Paul Heyman walked in. Stephanie said there was nothing better than the look on her father's face in that footage -- and Paul said that if she liked the look on Vince's face when the Alliance was formed, then she should just stay tuned, because he was going to call Vince out on SmackDown!

Heyman then walked to the ring, to a massive round of boos. Paul said that he going to call out Vince McMahon to his ring in front of his public on his own television show. He said that the show was only his until this Sunday at Survivor Series. Paul said he knew how much the people appreciated what he, Shane and Stephanie had done to stand up to Vince's tyranny, and told the people to pay attention to him because he was going to tell it how it is.

Paul said that the WWF will die this Sunday, but not to blame him. Paul said he wasn't the one who peed all over the memories of Bruno Sammartino and Superstar Billy Graham and on the accomplishments of Stone Cold Steve Austin -- Vince was. He said Survivor Series means more than just the superstars involved -- it's about ending what Vince McMahon was trying to accomplish. Paul said he agreed with everything Mick Foley said on RAW -- that the WWF truly does suck, and that Vince McMahon had lost his mind, and didn't have it anymore.

Paul said the WWF is imploding from within, saying that Vince's loyal employees -- like Austin and Foley -- are leaving him, and his children hate him. Paul said Vince has no hope, saying he has the same chances of saving the WWF as he did of realizing his dream of starting a football league.
After all that verbal abuse, Mr. McMahon had heard enough. Vince walked to the ring and stood face to face with Heyman. As Vince walked to the ring, Paul got down on his knees, saying he did so because Vince was so used to men being down on their knees, kissing his a ss. He mocked Vince being a billionaire and the king of sports entertainment. He told Vince that he hated his stinking guts, as did his children. He said that at Survivor Series, his children would do to him what Paul had been waiting his whole life to see someone do to Vince -- put him out of business! Paul called Vince a vile son of a bi tch, saying he used Hulk Hogan's blood to build Titan Tower, Bret Hart's dream to buy an airplane and Shawn Michael's smile to take his company public and become a billionaire. He said Vince wasn't a self-made billionaire -- he was a billionaire on other people's hard work. He said that Vince's father had shaken hands with fellow promoters, promising he and Vince Jr. wouldn't compete against them. Paul said that when Vince's father died, Vince Jr. had driven every one of those men out of business.

He also accused Vince of becoming a billionaire by stealing those promoters' ideas, including Heyman's! He said that Vince stole his legacy, and everything ECW represented. He said that while Doink the Clown was competing for the WWF, Stone Cold was drinking his first beer in ECW. He said that while Mean Gene and Bobby Heenan were singing "Tutti Fruti," ECW was producing a type of TV which the WWF would later steal and rename "Attitude." He said Vince was a son of a bit ch for flaunting his affairs in front of his wife and in Playboy for his children to read.

Heyman then pointed at Tazz, talking about how Tazz was a great wrestler and a killer in ECW. He said "wrestling" was a dirty word to Vince, and that Vince had transformed Tazz into a fat, obnoxious color commentator, and a sports-entertainer. He asked Vince what kind of man he was.

As he continued to verbally lambaste Vince, Tazz snuck up behind Heyman and locked him in the Tazzmission! As Paul laid on the mat unconscious, Vince grabbed the microphone and simply said that Heyman was the epitome of the Alliance -- because this Sunday at Survivor Series, the Alliance will choke! Tazz walked away with Vince as Heyman laid unsonscious in the ring.

Jim Ross came out to provide color commentary with Michael Cole for the remainder of the show.
Next up, Booker T went one-on-one with the Undertaker. Taker attacked Booker from behind before the Bookerman even made it to the ring. The match quickly degenerated into a bar fight, with Taker saying he was sending a message to the Alliance. Taker soon brough a steel chair into the ring, and when the ref tried taking the chair away, Taker shoved the ref down, ending the bout in a disqualification. Taker then chokeslammed Booker T!

In the commissioner's office, William Regal told Ivory that there would be a new Women's Champion crowned at Survivor Series, in a six-person match. He said it would be Trish, Lita and Jackie against Ivory, Mighty Molly and a surprise guest. Ivory left his office, and mild-mannered reporter Gregory Helms came in. He asked Regal about rumors of an Immunity Battle Royal at Survivor Series. Regal said yes -- there will indeed be a 20-man Immunity Battle Royal, with the winner winning a spot on the winning team for at least a year! Helms said that it would take a super hero to win that kind of match, and he knew just the man

Stone Cold talked to Kurt Angle, saying he was still pis sed about getting the Rock Bottom on RAW. Austin said that Kurt was either with him or against him, and he told Kurt to look him in the eye and tell him he was on his side. Kurt said that he was with him, as he would be at Survivor Series. Angle said he didn't know if he could trust Austin, since Vince had said that Stone Cold would jump at Survivor Series. Austin asked Angle if he knew how important Survivor Series was. Angle said that Jericho thought he was cool, but he wasn't red, white and blue Olympic gold cool! Angle said he pinky swore that he was with the Alliance!

Torrie was backstage getting her hair ready, and she was approached by Commissioner Regal. Regal told her that Tajiri was in for a beating on SmackDown! and also at Survivor Series. Torrie said she used to think that Regal was a gentleman, but now she just thought that he was a pompous as s! Regal said that after Survivor Series, Tajiri would not only be out of work, he would be incapable of work, after the thrashing he was to receive! He also said that if Torrie was looking for a job, he might be able to find an appropriate position for her!

In mixed tag action, Commissioner William Regal and Ivory took on Tajiri and Torrie Wilson. During the bout, Tajiri sprayed his mist right into Ivory's face! Regal was disquaified when he pulled Torrie into the ring and brutally assaulted Tajiri's girlfriend!

In an emotional message to World Wrestling Federation fans, Jim Ross and Michael Cole said that if this was indeed their last episode of SmackDown!, then they just wanted to thank the fans for all their support over the years.

Mr. McMahon was walking backstage when he was approached by Howard Finkel. Fink said he was confident that Team WWF would win this Sunday, but if they were to lose, then he just wanted to thank Vince for everything over the 20-plus years he's been with the company. A teary-eyed Fink then gave Vince a hug! Vince said that in 20 years, Howard's pants had grown too short, he had yet to button his vest, and he had lost all the hair from his head! He told Howard that Team WWF would indeed emerge victorious this Sunday, and then told Howard never to touch him ever again!

The main event on SmackDown! was a tag-team megamatch, as Stone Cold Steve Austin and Kurt Angle took on The Rock and Chris Jericho. The match was action-packed and super-charged, and the Rock/Jericho and Austin/Angle combinations definitely seemed to be on the same page. The match culminated when the Rattlesnake brought a chair into the ring and assaulted Rock's ankle, and then tossed referee Earl Hebner from the ring, ending the bout in a disqualification.

Austin set up the chair to "Pillmanize" Rock's ankle, but Undertaker ran down to save Rock, giving Austin a huge chokeslam. Booker T then ran down, and he and Angle assaulted Taker. Y2J ran into the ring and took down Booker T and Angle. Rob Van Dam ran down and nailed Y2J with the Five-Star Frog Splash. Kane ran down and chokeslammed RVD. Shane ran in and hit Kane in the head with a chair. Big Show then ran down and punched the chair right into Shane's face. Angle ran back into the ring and hit Show with an Angle slam. Rock then gave Angle a Rock Bottom. Austin followed up by giving The Rock a Stunner.

Vince McMahon walked to the stage and smiled at the Texas Rattlesnake, and Austin smiled right back, as SmackDown! went off the air!

No. 2. I'd watch out if I were you. WWF are clamping down on those who copy and paste from wwf.com. They have shut down a number of web-sites and forums. They made a statement saying that people can't use any rescources of wwf.com as Vince & Linda have worked hard to get the federation where it is today. I would have thought that a little bit of promoting wouldn't hurt!! But, it's what they say I'm afraid. Good luck to team WWF tonight, even though I have very big cocerns over Survivor Series. This is because of the legal reason with the court case between the two WWF's(you know what i'm on about).
