I'd advise a PAL GameCube. I've got 13 games, and 3 more on my wanted list - let alone those in the future or on import! Trust me, getting a UK one will be cheaper and a lot less hectic.

If you don't already have a GC then i would go for it, depending on the games tho. Obviously i would like a Pan Q but i'm only a student bum and not uber rich. I got a PAL GC when it came out and sort of regret it now as most of the games i get are either Jap or USA region. £140 is the same money as you'd pay for a similar PAL deal but you can play USA games without the need for a freeloader and hence get them earlier :)

Wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to buy a PAL Cube and a freeloader, seeing as you're likely to buy more PAL games than NTSC ones.
