The square, cross, circle and triangle buttons are pressure sensitive (and maybe the D Pad) but the shoulder buttons are not. And in the case of Def Jam Vendetta i dont think its the harder you press i think it the longer you press it.

Wrong.
It uses an updated version of the No mercy engine which is easily one of the best Wrestling games out there, there's no crazy button combo's too pull off the moves granted. But that' what makes it so great, there's hunreds of different moves mearly a button press away.
It's not slow it's just not Wrestling on steroids....like Smackdown.
