But hell, it's funny at times. :)
And they have done the occasional good song, ie God of Thunder, and come to think of it their version of 2000 Man isn't too bad either.
And in terms of selling out when signing to a label, Noise records used to allow its artists complete artistic control, such as when they allowed Celtic Frost to go rather avant-garde with Into the Pandemonium. But to be honest, this was because the label staff really couldn't care less.

I guess I see selling out as a total compromise of the music style to suit the paying fans. Bands such as Pearl Jam have gone off to create their own musical styles and have lost 'casual' fans of their first album as a result, but they're doing what they want to do. They've actually gained new fans from this, but probably hurt sales by not creating a similar album to their first.

Someone told me Enter Shikari haven't... I forget who or when this was.

I think 'selling out' is over-used. I don't think most artists/bands 'sell out' nowadays, because so many people start out in a band looking to get signed and make a career out of it. I see 'selling out' as compromising your music/values/etc. to make more money. If the music was always just a means to an end, ie. it was always just a career move, then surely you can't actually sell out?

But every artist/band become a sellout as soon as they sign to a record label or release any material. It's the nature of the business. Anyone who insists that the bands/artists which they like haven't sold out, is fooling themselves.

Why? Trust me, someone is bound to do this at some stage, and I'd rather me than a more senior, bloodthirsty member.
I have not insulted you, I have only told you to cop on.
