It arrived this morning, sadly no TMB online + adapter yet but I am not bothered. I have just com[;eted the firstlevel on Socom with overall grade of D. I love tapping circlethen team then regroup.

I ordered the cables for the adapter last night, got next day delivery, so hopefully, and I mean hopefully it will get shipped today and arrive tomorow with TMB Online + adapter.

Socom is amazing in single player.

Yeah, and once you're online you never look back :-)

I did the first mission offline out of curiosity, but whenever I turn it on I go straight to online play. I might do offline next time there's server maintenance..

Got upto level 9 before I got it put online.

There's been plenty of people who have verified chipped PS2's will work with the NA... pirate games is a different matter so you may be forced to actually pay for something for a change Herc ;-)

Some guy was on there said he had to buy another PS2 to go online, as his Phony one wasn't alowed. Something the do with the DNAS check I think. ;)
