I'm getting so fed up of seeing people having a go at me for not using my index page (i'm not groaning at you cjh) if I don't want to use my index page it's my buisness and nobody elses.
Now will you lot please stop going on about it and tell me how wonderfull my site is.
rant over...
But, are these reasons stopping you from putting a simple 'forwarding' index page under the Domain?? So what when people go to http://www.dmonster.co.uk they are sent onto the /dmp-dtn section of the page?
It would make a lot more sence in terms of search engine listings, but like I said, if you've got reasons, then fair enough.
So er sorry no comment.
'Personal reasons'
What personal reasons stop you from using the main index of your domain?!? People remember it easier with the main domain and Google won't be able to find your proper site as it's not linked to anywahere...
What is the reason for it? There is no normal reason why you wouldn't use the main domain but would happily give away a link to your domain with your proper site in it?
If you're hoping on starting your 'business' then you'll need to make use of the top because people aren't gonna sit there and learn, no matter how easy it is, learn the extra stuff to the site.
UKPC.net didn't exist, but SR sold everything from UKPC.net/pcky-swd/ they wouldn't get half as many hits, the name's too hard to remember.
If you payed for the domain, why don't you make use of it?
"Other stuff of little significance"
Ha.
I hope you aren't using the same people who bodged the Wembley job.
