Whether it goes multi platoform is another matter!
I have been waiting for this day since I completed Shenmue 2. My favourite games of all time finally get another installment. By far my most anticipated title!
As for the platform the Xbox would be the best choice. However I couldn't really care as I will own a PS2 soon to complete my collection of all 3. With the Hard Drive, Dolby Digital and what not I would much prefer a release on the Xbox.
I never really doubted it. Yu Suzuki is the Magnus Magnassun of the gaming world - "I've started so I'll finish".
To quote;
"The story [Shenume 3] is already completed. The problem is we have not decided to move forward with designing the game yet. If there's demand for it, we'd love to make it, but it [the actual game release] is undecided."
Hence there is Shenmue 3 in terms of an existing plot, story, character etc but no actual game in development yet.
If there's demand for it? Has he been living under a rock for the las**t year? Of course there's demand for it!
Are the Kennedy's gun shy?
Does a bear sh*t in the woods?
>>Sorry, forgot to mention the guy quoted is Yu Suzuki.
--Yeah, thats old news. Even before Shenmue 1 was released on the Dreamcast, Yu Suzuki had the whole story finished! So thats pretty obvious, the confirmed news that Shemnmue 3 is finally in development is good to hear.
