Freeserve is a good ISP you just got 56k which sucks compared to broadband.

I connect at 49,333 with AOL.

Cookie lives in the middle of nowhere, hence no Boradband yet.

My 128k Broadband connection with NTL, always gives 31kb/sec which I'm told is very good :)

Connection speed has little to do with online playing. It's all down to latency.

I live in a small village, its crap for playing online in general. Depends on the game though.
