I dug out my copy of Broken Sword 2 recently and have been playing that - I'd forgotten about these games and they're still great. As I haven't been looking at previews I was wondering what has been released about Broken Sword 3 and whether any of you lot are going to bother with it.

I am for sure, and I know some others around here are as well from when the topic's been brought up.

Loved the first one, but haven't played the second - it seems to have dissapeared completely!

All I really know about the new one is that it's in proper 3D and you can control the French woman as well from time to time.
Damn me for not remembering her name ... some stupid ... with an N ...

Played BS1 on the PC loads.

The new look looks a bit to generic to me.

3rd person adventuring........wohoo.

I suggest you do. It is no way near as hard as the first, but still great fun.

Bloke further down got her name right, and you control her in the second game.

I am more then a little nervous about the whole 3D thing, I am worried they may ruin the cartoon/funny feel.

None the less, this game is right near the top of my most wanted list.

Yeah, me too.
I think if it's in 3D most of the puzzles will be physical and about you getting around the place, rather than mental as they should be.

Hope they've brought back the voice artists from the first two - they're some great lines in them.

Police Station, Quaramonte City:

Nico:( to police officer) "George has something very important he wants to ask you"
George: "Would you like a dog biscuit? Mm I can't get enough of them"

There are some classic lines ...

I'm feeling like playing the first one again, just from the memories.
But it's got a bug in it which freezes the game. We did have a patch .. but I've lost it.
Poo.
