Just wondered if anyone has picked this up yet? i've got a copy here, i've just come back from a few days break, saw Chubby Brown at Scarborough, very funny guy - good night, so i won't be playing this until later, driving has tired me out!, any thoughts would be great, are the scoreboards up for it yet?

Yeah I started another championship last night in the Lancer. Again I've done excellent on the U.S tracks and won easily. I saved the game and next I'm gonna try messing around with the setup - I usually shy away from that part of racing games.
I'll get onto that at some point.

Rallisport was good but no where near as much fun. This is the most complete and overall better handling rally game out of all the ones I have ever played. Where Rallisport takes a lead in terms of visuals this really does spank it massively when it comes to car handling and gameplay.

I prefer Rallisport Challenge to be quite honest - looks better in my opinion and is a lot more fun.

Its excellent so far. The car only spins wildly if you aren't in control of it. One slight damage to the suspension and you car will start to handle differently. Before the race make sur you go through the car setup properly and alter the car height, suspension and the steering. You will notice a massive difference that way.

I have this game, but no xbox.

But i played it at GAME yesterday.

Being a fan of racing games, the handling on Colin Mcrae 04 was pretty dreadfull, but i could get use to it.

I agree, its like theres no weight on the back of the car, and you spin at 5 mph!

Im not sure if it gets better the further you go in the game, but i hope it does.

Or maybe earning the upgrades was a mistake - they actually seem to have made the car worse.

Rallying or not, no car slides as bad as my car has at around 5mph. unless its on ice and my car has little ice skates instead of wheels. Obviously rally is different to normal racing what with the terrain, but this game does seem to exaggerate at times. The USA tracks are great, but when you get to some of the UK areas and stuff, things can get really stupid at times. With the UK tracks, it seems to be the muddy forest areas that start to royally screw you.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, now I'm no expert on rallying, but I don't remember the cars having trolley style wheels and on some courses, I swear the steering wheel is taken out. Maybe it was a special handicap for me cause I was doing too well ? Hmmmmmmmmmmm.
