Huxley [08/06] -

This is looking great. Some of the indoor sections seemed a little too much like the 'you're in a square room with baddies coming at you' rooms that we've all seen 1000 times before. Other inside bits look better and all of the outside gameplay footage makes it look like excellent fun.

Mobile Suit Gundam: The One Year War -

Not bad, not sure what the offline is like (or if it even exists) but the Ghost Recon 2 + Mechs style of the online portion certainly looks like fun. Not much cover though it seems, not sure that'll go down well upon release. There is long grass though so hopefully people can go prone when they're not suited-up in one of the mechs.

Excitement Level: 6.5

Dark Sector -

Digital Extremes give us their own spin once again. Stealth, bio-modification, gore and a funny three pronged disc of death! The style has changed a lot since it's early days, the Sci-fi element has been all-but removed. Looks like Manhunt was an influence, the developers say you stalk the guards rather than 'hide for minutes at a time'.

Theseis -

Odd-looking adventure game. Set in Greece. Treasure hunting elements it seems. Looks like it will have a good story but not much to go-on gameplay-wise at the moment. Early days. Looks nice.

Project Sylpheed -

Space dogfights from Square-Enix. Pretty, but will it end up pretty pointless?

Excitement Level: 2

Earth Defence Force 3 -

UK bound.

Reminds me of Body Harvest more than a little bit and there's some Serious Sam in there too. Fight huge insects on foot and in mechs and tanks. Possible co-op. Seriously looking like the closest thing to a modern-day Body Harvest. Interesting stuff indeed.

Excitement Level: 8

Harker -

Looks like Van Helsing part 2. Thankfully it's being developed by The Collective who managed to make the rather fun engine for the Buffy games.

Excitement Level: 5

Galactic Command -

Rather dated looking space shooter. An episodic download game. Looks like Descent in the outdoors and space. Could be fun but looks very basic. Space looks nice in it though. Described as 'fast paced' but looks anything but.

Excitement Level: 3.5

Forza 2 [25/05] - Reminds me of TOCA but with even more realism but less cars types (boo!). Should be fun to trash some cars on. :D

Excitement Level: 4.5

Unreal Tournament III -

A proper Unreal battlefield on a console. About time! Mech's, vehicles, capture various points and all that jazz. Should be great.

Excitement Level: 7

Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 -

More of the same - but who's complaining? Harder AI, better AI, co-op and new modes. Some pretty serious explosions too. Oh it's going to be great!

Excitement Level: 8.5

Monster Madness 2 -

Another odd title. 4 player monster shooting co-op over Live and arena battles. Might be a ton of fun. Nickelodeon show graphics.

Excitement Level: 4.5

The Precursors -

Travel to various planets, greet the locals, and the shoot them. Or run them over with vehicles/mechs. Loads of cool looking aliens to shoot, actually looks a lot of fun!

Excitement Level: 7

Hour of Victory - [15/06 apparently]

Midway moves in on the WW2 shooter market. Looks like a licence to print money. Looks nice.

Excitement Level: 4.5

The Outsider -

David Braben's latest game. Teaser trailer is certainly interesting. Hopefully the game matches up.

Excitement Level: An, almost completely baseless, 7

Vampire's Rain -

Sam Fisher-a-like goes hunting vampires. Certainly has potential. Looks like there might be multiplayer too. Seems to be a bit of a Resident Evil influence in there aswell.

ah. Got Saints Row for £5 today. Will pop into Blockbuster and get GRAW2 for £15 I think. Maybe get rid of a few old Xbox games too, can't be bothered for them to get Spiderman II on the 360 compatibility list...

Looks fun.

But then again I don't care about graphics and I like to play about with 'broken' games.

That Vampires Rain game looks bloody awful, really dated graphics and horrible looking game play. It wouldn't look out of place on a PS2, even then it would be an average to crap game.

Being a racing fan, I'm really interested in Forza 2, especially after seeing some of the stuff they showed off at GDC.

As for the others, I'm not too interested in them at the moment.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
