I am looking for an RGB cable for my PS2. I am not after the best one, just one that does a good job and preferably one that I can get from Game as I am going later. Any help would be great.

I have the official Xbox RGB cable and it only cost me £29.99?!

Best RGB can be purchased at a low price from a mainly DVD selling site.

It wasn't the official one, it was made by ..... can't remember, check out www.comet.co.uk for the most expensive scart leads available.

Isn't that because the X-box scart cable also has the digital audio connectors or something. It's not a basic scart (which, unless it's gold plated, shouldn't cost much more than a fiver).

The Xbox cable does indeed have an optical digital output on it (on a block about halfway down the lead).

To be totally blunt, don't get too excited about whether the connections are gold-plated or not. If you've got a seriously top-end TV then yes, you'll notice a difference between a good and bad quality cable.

HOWEVER(!)

Pay equal attention to the overall reputation/quality of the cable - not much point having gold-plated connections if the cable itself is utter rubbish. Would be a bit like putting a Ferrari car body on top of a Fiat Punto engine. (And I can say that cause I have a Punto!).

I have a Blaze 'Ultimate RGB' cable for my PS2. Does the job for me.
