"Nintendo Gamecube! The Preview!"

I have posted this in the reviews section but i posted it here as well. So no complaining.

It's nearly here Nintendo Fans. The Nintendo Gamecube will be here 9 days from the day this review was written. So not long to wait now if you are planning on importing one.

Now the Gamecube will be a 4 player console that will come in a variety of colours including gold, silver, purple and red. Nintendo have also decided to go for the option of using CD's instead of their favourite, cartridges. The CD's won't be normal sized like the PS2 and X-Box. They will be mini CD's that ninty say will cost less to make and buy.

Now the games for the Gamecube are looking really good.

With Luigi's Haunted Mansion and Wave Race: Blue Storm as launch titles and Super Smash Brothers Melee and Rouge Leader on the way the future looks good for the GameCube.

Now there will also be a special Gamecube that will cost around £100 more than the original but it will play DVD's. Ninty probably didn't want to be left out of the DVD market as they're 2 rivals have opted to use DVD's.

The console has not yet been set a british price but it should be around £150. Quite a good price for a games console in this generation of games.

So if you really want a Gamecube then it is cheaper than any other console with better graohics so when it comes out. Buy it.

I'm pretty sure we haven't run Full Thrust as a game although any number of spaceship battles have been fought. I think Steve and myself are familiar with FT so a game shouldn't be too hard to run.
As for Saturday why not bring along a simple boardgame or that Runequest skirmish you were thinking of running the other week.

Mike (Viking Hero) ... I know I said I might like to try something in the Full Thrust line but I've not done my homework on what people have available in terms of models so I think I would rather leave it this time and put myself down for running FT as a side game next time. (Although I can work something out for this time if needs be)

I've got a nice little scenario written that can accommodate 2-4 fractions dependant on players. I've also got some nice charts for people to use.

For my information, has Full Thrust been run as a game before?

Rareware would be stupid not to make a new Perfect Dark game for the Gamecube.

Trust me theres gonna be a Perfect Dark game for the Cube, theres no screenshots yet but there will be a game. The first screenshots really are gonna make me fire whipped cream all over my pants (hmmm that was a little weird, ignore the last bit).

i hope sonic is in so i can kick his *ss.

i also hope that there will be a Perfect Dark game for Gamecube. it would very probably be good.

Yes I agree Afro, the big fat italian plumber that eats mushrooms to get bigger, and can shoot fire balls out of his hands looks so realistic

even though i never really got into Smash Bros on the N64 i have to say the GC version looks so cool. the characters are so damn realistic.

I'm still getting it, but I was looking forward to starwars multiplayer as much as the single player.

It's only half the game I originally thought it was.

Rouge Leader definetly does look so good. but will it play as well as it looks. it is still on my list when i get a GC.

Rogue Leader looks the best, I can't wait to play it. Starfox Adventure is looking rather nice as well, some of the detail in the sceenshots is frickin amazing.
