I thought they were crappy but I'm actually starting to enjoy them. Once you start racking up large combo's they really are a lot of fun.
Oh and in the main career mode there's really not many of them, good thing with the new game though is if you can't arsed with them you just pass them on the lowest points level and never have to play them again.
I rented it from Blockbuster on Thursday even though the release date was Friday.
If this is more race-oriented, I'll probably get it. If not...
