Last week, I saw a film called Cube. It rocked my world. It was possibly the most original, most thrilling sci-fi flick I've ever seen, and I've seen a few. It's about 6 strangers who awake to find themselves trapped in a strange cube. On all four walls, plus the floor and ceiling, are small doors which lead to other, seemingly identical cubes. Some cubes contain nasty traps, some don't. The strangers must find a way out of the cube, even though they don't know each other or why they are there.

Seriously, this is the best sci-fi film I've seen in ages, and we sell it for only £14,99 so it's well worth a pop. It's one of the only films I've actually sat down and watched, been amazed and then watched it again, straight afterwards, that's the effect it had on me. Please, don't miss out on a milestone sci-fi film, I urge you to see it while we still stock it.

Thanks for reading, Ali.

I thought Cube was pretty good, but it still lacked refinement to make it a truly great sci-fi movie. I liked its innovation though - it made you think.

i love that film too! I saw the last 10 minutes of it on sky movies once so I waited for it to come on again but and then one day there it was... But I missed the first 30 minutes... I now only have the first 10 minutes to see and I have watched through to the end each time. Damn good film. But my viewing method is not recommended.

Cube is a brilliant film! Had it on DVD for some time.

The 'egg slicer' at the beginning is fantastic - just pure evil! Odd ending though!

EVERYBODY MUST SEE PROOF OF LIFE!

I rented it last night and it is absolutely brilliant. It's a film that you just can't dislike. It's got everything in it.

There is a brilliant bit near the end where Russel Crowe runs up behind this guy and stabs his knife right into the side of the guys neck as far as it will go. Then he takes him down and just rips the guy's entire throat out.

I'm going to sell a Bruce Lee banner (which I bought in America for $20) to my brothers friend for 35 quid and then I'm gonna buy Proof of Life and Hannibal on DVD.

:)

Has Mr.Snuggly, or anyone else, seen the Thirteeneth Floor? It's a really good Sci-fi film that actually makes you think. Especially with virtual reality advancing all the time.....

I won't give away any of the plot, but it's knocking around on Sky Premier at the moment so if you catch it, sit down and watch, it's even better than the cube.

If you've got Sky. Go to the A-Z listings bit and look it up in the Movies section. I don't know when they're showing 13th floor next but it is a truly inspired Sci-fi film. Well worth seeing. I repeated my trick of only watching the last hour of it, so I still have the first bit to see...
