Seen this game advertised as sponsors of Star Trek on Sky One.

It looks pretty good, and could be a lot of fun.

Opinions on it, for any format?

May have to pick it up soon. Almost got it last week but went for Jak II instead, have no regrets about that! - From what I have read it sounds like a decent enough game and Ive seen it for quite a reasonable price.

No, Sphinx is in the same mould as Zelda, just it has a jump button and so has slightly more jumping in it.

Excactly same format - none of the collecting 10 Stars on one level and 100 coins for an extra life platform-y style.

You would have been as well to say that it isn't as good as PGR2. It's a platformer, Zelda is action/RPG. Different types of game, you can't compare them that well.

Play this, and then play Zelda and you'll see what's wrong with it.

Good, but just in comparison it's not enough. Well, not sure about PS2/Xbox, but on Cube WW and even the bonus discs beat it.

for a good platformer I reckon a safe bet is prince of persia.

On average it seems to be getting around 8 out of 10.

I at first was going to dismiss it out of hand as being some sort of kiddies platformer, but some of the reviews have been rather interesting.
