Then I finished it and sold it.

Hmm. I think that, when you're selecting a mission, if you've completed the mission, it tells your best result.
I sold the game a while ago, but from memory, I think that's what it was like. However, I'm sensing this isn't the case, as surely you wouldn't have gone to the bother of posting this topic had the situation been that simple.
