I was watching ths dumb film for the main reason that some topless babe was walking around and eventually switched over to find some dude with a PS2 behind him, cool!
He went on about the PS2 and it's hardware then then squaresoft came on an chatted about final fantasy and then tomb raider's male fantasy (yeah right) and the creator of Resident Evil (RESPECT) showed us parts of code veronica and nemesis.
It was just about Japan and he way the games are and stuff like that, I'm sure i've seen bits of it before and it did seem quite old but just out of interest did anyone else see it.

I've seen it three times. It's a good programme about the differences between Japanese and western video games and how the two are merging to create a global video game culture. For instance, the last Final Fantasy game used more westernised characters yet at the same time promoted Japanese culture.
In Japan, the Resident Evil series is in English with Japanese subtitles - the programme said this is deemed to be 'cool' by the Japanese.
