I disagree. The RGB is supposed to level PAL games with 60 HZ NTSC games in terms of smoothness of the picture and the colour brightness, so they don't need it in the American market, and that's whu US TV's don't have RGB sockets in the first place, while the S-video is sold in both the european and the US market, so it must have the ability to improve the picture even when it is in full 60 HZ, otherwise they wouldn't sell it in the US.
