i would say that final fantasy x is the longest game ever to complete(not only storyline but also defeating all dark aeons and pennance). and the truth is.....it takes ages.

I think pro evo soccers 1-3 is the longest, as u can play the master league indefinately!!!
I think Ratchet and Clank 2 went quicker than the first one.

Anyway, one of the longest games I've played would be FFX, I clocked up over 100 hours before I sold it. The only problem I had with FFX was that the very final battle was incredibly easy.
I think the longest game has got to be final fantasy 8. FFX is hard and difficult with the sidequests, but seeing as i couldn't beat ultemecia the 1st time round until i had lionheart, aura, and 100 megalixer and was at level 99, thats a heck of a lot of wrk. 67 hours that took, with the only sidequest was beating bahamut!!!
