Devil May Cry 3 was finally announced. It's going to be ps2 exclusive. Tsuyoshi Tanaka is going to design it, he is the same designer who designed Devil May Cry 2. It's going to take place before DMC2. It's going to be Mission-styled. It's going to be officially announced by capcom in E3 2004, and it's going to be released in late 2004, or the beginning of 2005. These are the screenshots:

His favourites are the lord of the rings and the matrix, and I know what you want to prove, regardless of that, he still exists, I am just trying to point out that there are coincidences.

That's a coincidence. I have seen another coinsidence. I have a friend who played DMC1 and liked it and even thought it was best game ever, and when he played 2, he enjoyed it more than DMC1 and liked it more than DMC1.

I doubt it.

Looks like there's some pretty good ideas in there which'll make playing the game a lot more fun.
This could be the proper sequel to DMC1 - rather than the same-stuff-different-place DMC2 seemed like.

NO I understood prefectly. I know 3 people who played the second BEFORE playing the first and didn't enjoy it, going back to the original design of the first on my recommendation they really enjoyed playing it.

You didn't understand a thing of what I told you. I said that IF someone played the second and did NOT play the first, DMC2 was poor only because the prequal was better, theoritically DMC2 is a good game, but actually we liked the 1st one so we didn't like the second. Suppose that DMC2 was released in 2001 instead of DMC1, we would've liked it.

no! i thourght that the original director was gonna be on the job again, shame, devil may cry 2 was rubbish, if it never had the license/backing of the first game i'm sure no one would have bourght it, the final boss was poor aswell. oh well.

I have 3 examples of people who didn't like the second but loved the first. A Good game is a good game regardless of whether it is a long running chain of sequels or not. The second Devil May Cry was poor.
