Does anyone know if any of the Back To The Future films are going to be released on DVD here in the UK.

The Back to the Future DVDs have been in production for absolutely ages now - I think Autumn 2001 is the most accurate release date, and that will be for R1.

Well if thats right I hope they get it sorted soon.
My VHS copies of the Trilogy are starting to wear out, So the sooner the better.

Last I heard was the Fox were waiting on clearance to use some footage shot with the actor before Micheal J Fox was cast as Marty McFly

I remember reading in DVD Review (around April time '01) that there is definetly a box set of the trilogy on its way - although no release date was set at the time!!!

It [the DVD boxset] was confirmed by someone "heavily involved" [as in its production] to use their words...
