Well, not die, just fade away. But it wouldn't suprise me if it comes back into a craze again, well, with GameCube owners anyway. Mainly because of Pokemon Colluseum. Its great for 99p.

It hasn't died.
All that's happened is the media has moved on to a new fad, so Pokémon get jack attention these days.

It would get a massive revival when a proper GC RPG is made.
That would be the biggest selling game ever made, I assure you.

I think it was with GAME's offer. You give them 4 games and you can buy any game you want for 99p.

Hoho! "Died" indeed!

You'll have Dringo in here any second quoting the Fire Red and Leaf Green sales figures...

I've got some original gameboy games that were terrible - will they take them?

So say you bought all four at full price, assuming they're not PC, Game Boy or one of the few exceptions released lower than the standard R.R.P.

That would be £40 + £40 + £40 + £40 which is equal to £160. Minus the £39 to make the game 99p and you've saved a massive, -£121!

Obviously, deduct any savings you've made off of the £40 per game when you bought them, but chances are, all you've done is paid more for the games whilst giving Game extra profit from the sales of your old games (which they'll make 40% minimum on)
