I noticed this when i first got my Xbox Elite. I'd previously seen pictures of the big beauty on various sites, and it's a lovely black, and for some reason, that gives it a really elite feel, maybe because the other less powerful Xbox is white, and it's a big contrast. Looking at my Elite though, the colour seems to be one of a charcoal grey. Pictures i've seen of elites usually show a controller aswell, and the controller matches the console. The controller i got was completely black, but putting it next to the console, the colour's completely different. It's rather strange. I've never seen anyone else with an elite, so i haven't been able to compare them, so i'm asking on here to see wether anyone else has a similar elite, or wether mine is just a one off.

Mine is definitely black. That is a curious one.
Hmm, if i posted a picture via photobucket or something, could you tell me if it's at all similar?
Yeah, sure. My console isn't as black as my controller but it is still black.
