I've got another Daily Mail article for you guys to roll your eyes at.

I didn't know which angle to go with, the fact we're all paying for these kids or that she gave them all god awful names.

>8 snip

Sara Foss and Stephen Smith have enjoyed conjuring up wild and wacky names for their 13 children.

We've listed them, from oldest to youngest, and given Sara's reasons for their names.

Patrick – named after Sara's grandmother's surname of Patrick

Stephen – after his doting dad, Stephen

Malachai – after a character in the horror film, Children of the Corn

Peppermint – after Sara started craving mints during her fourth pregnancy

Echo – after a group of eco-campaigners who Stephen met during a job at work

Eli – another character in the 1984 film Children of the Corn

Rogue – a character in the film X-Men

Frodo – hobbit in Lord of the Rings

Morpheus – a character in film, The Matrix, staring Keanu Reeves

Artemis – book character, Artemis Fowl, an obnoxious teenage criminal

Blackbird – named after a gathering of blackbirds which flew onto Sara's lawn

Baudelaire – named after the Baudelaire orphans which featured in Lemony Snicket's film A Series of Unfortunate Events

Voorhees – named after serial killer, Jason Voorhees in the horror movie, Friday The 13th

What is the world coming to....

I'm assuming if i wrote a famous book with a main character called "Erection Man", the name would catch on?

Indeed it would!

*does a Hmmm face (as in Hmmm the user)* :¬)

Tried to keep the name within the Freeola 'Bad Word' boundaries, so that was the best i could say. Of course i mean erect as in a statue.

"a pregnant woman silhouetted against a set of blinds"

The Daily Mail are so kind to describe that for me, I actually thought I was looking at oil seeping through a grill.

I also had many laughs out loud at Baudelaire as a choice of name. For one wild moment, I thought she was referring to the renowned French poet.

God, I'm a snob.

A friend of mine has two children; Kane and Logan. They also have four cats; Kitty, Rogue, Xavier and Nightstalker

Anybody getting the theme here?

The sad thing is, I'm not joking either...

My sister has a friend who named her kid Blue, I kid you not. Has it really come to naming people colours?

Personally, I am considering continuing the tradition started by my father when he named me and picking a footballer to name my son after (once I get around to having one, or finding someone to have one with...).
