"Why did I not win? Explanation please"

On the first of July, I posted my best topic to date entitled "Macots: Past, present and future". I felt this had a really good chance of winning. Normally I don't post to win but I really want GT3 and I can't afford it.

However, this topic was beaten by a topic entitled "SEGA and Nintendo Killed Originality in Video Games". I don't think this topic deserved to win and I thought mine was far better. All I want to know is why didn't I win? Is there a specific reason? Could someone from SR tell me so I can improve next time.

I would appreciate it if someone from SR could reply to this so I know they've at least read it.

Wel... to be honest, I was thinking more of people who were saying things like... 'I didnt win GAD so I'm going' ... 'nobody likes me, so I'm posting this message to say I'm off' kinda posts...

Errm, I think that may have been my fault Shanks.

We broke up from university, and I didn't think I'd have any 'net access, so I told everyone I was leaving for a while.

However, I did (and still do) have 'net access, so I'm still here. I don't know if some people thought I was messing about or trying to get attention or something, I wasn't.

Anyway, sorry.

(although it didnt work too well :) )

Anyway...

Point of it was,

apart from winding TurboNutter up :)

to point outhow silly it is to write posts like this about how your leaving the forum...

Its happeneing on a weekly basis at the moment...

If you dont feel like comming onto the forum, why not just stop comming on... at least then if you change your mind you can always come back with minimum hassle...

I'm not complaining (since everyone always sticks there messages in chat, so its not like forum abuse or anything)

It just seems like they are posts intended to provoke a reaction, and try to blag a GAD withoutu putting in any effort?

Just wondered? :)

Oh no, I didn't win today because.... I didn't actually post anything. Oh well, better luck for me tomorrow... ;-)
