You know when you run a MS-DOS prompt from within Windows, such a ping, is it possible to keep it open so I can read the final message?

Thanks.

You can also go to Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> MS-Dos prompt, and work away.

You need to go to Start and click on run. Then type in command This will open up the dos prompt where you can type in the commands and it will not close untill you type exit.
