Anyone like FF8 and 9?
From what I've seen, people like one and hate the other.

Let's see ...

I found FF9 a damn fine game. And FF8 rather tedious.

Chills? FF8 is way too tedious and it takes 30mins to get through the oh-so-boring tutorials. FF9 would've been in the same league if you didn't have to play cards on the 3rd disc. To the contrary, Kuja vs Sephiroth. Anyone for Kuja? Didn't think so.

Love them both but FF8 wins because Ozma was a disappointing uber-boss and the end sequence of FF8 sent chills down my spine.

Oh yeah, and Triple Triad is better than Tetra Master. Soooo disappointed that it's Tetra Master online with FFXI.

I 'like' both of them but actually I'm fonder of FF8 then FF9.

Hmmm i prefered 8 over 9, 9 hand a complete lack of aeon/GFs/summon beasties for my liking, and only 1 allowed to use them, bit silly i thought. Am working mi way back through 8 at the moment.

I didn't like either of them. Well, 9 wasn't bad, but I despised the card element.

I liked them both, but I never got round to finishing any of them.

9 was good, Steiner was funny. 8 however after X-2 is the worst one out the lot. Only good things about it were Quistis and the card game (which 9 ruined with it's random elements)
